Delete your account and data
Updated
Deleting your account permanently removes it and everything in it. You can't undo it, so if you want a copy of your contacts, export them first.
Delete your account
- In the sidebar, select Profile. On a phone, it's under More.
- Scroll to Danger Zone at the bottom.
- In the "Type delete to confirm" box, type delete.
- Select Delete account.
You're signed out and taken to Ostira's home page.
What gets deleted
Your account and all of its data: contacts, conversations, campaigns and enrollments, generated content, your pipeline, calendar and availability settings, notifications, your voice profile, and the link to your billing.
The consent records Ostira keeps for your contacts (how each one reached you and any opt-outs) are deleted too.
What happens to your subscription
If you're on Pro, the subscription is canceled right away. It doesn't run to the end of the billing period. To keep Pro until the period ends instead, cancel it on Billing and delete your account later. See Cancel or change your plan.
When your data is gone
Ostira's Privacy Policy says your personal data is removed from active systems within 30 days of deletion. Anonymized, combined data may be kept for product analytics. For a full data export or help with deletion, email privacy@ostira.com.
If something goes wrong
- "We could not cancel your active subscription. Please try again or contact support." Nothing was deleted. Try again, or email support@ostira.com.
- "We could not delete your account right now. No changes were finalized." Your account and data are still there, but a Pro subscription may already be canceled. Try again later, or email support@ostira.com.
