Set up your workspace

Setup walks you through four steps: your profile, your contacts, your calendar and your lead portals. It takes a few minutes, and you can skip any step and come back later.

Setup opens the first time you sign in. The top of each step shows where you are, for example "Step 1 of 4 — Profile".

Step 1: Profile

1. Enter your full name. It's the only required field.
2. Optional: enter your phone number and brokerage.
3. Select Continue.

Step 2: Import contacts

1. Select Upload CSV. The import page opens in a new tab.
2. Import your file in that tab. See Import contacts from a CSV file.
3. Come back to the setup tab and select "I've imported — Continue".

This step also counts as done as soon as you have at least one contact.

Step 3: Calendar

1. Select Connect Google Calendar. Google opens in the same tab. Choose your account and allow access, and Google sends you back to this step.
2. Under "Availability", turn on the days you work and set your hours.
3. Check the time zone.
4. Select Continue. Ostira saves your availability.

Leads can only book during these hours. This step also counts as done once Google Calendar is connected. For details, see Connect Google Calendar.

Step 4: Lead sources

This step covers leads from Zillow, Realtor.com and Homes.com. Ostira can't connect to lead portals by itself yet, so the team sets this up with you.

1. Email support@ostira.com and tell us which portals you use.
2. Select "Done".

Until a portal is connected, add leads one at a time with New lead, or import a CSV on Contacts. See Getting leads into Ostira.

Skip steps and finish later

• To skip one step, select Skip. On the last step, select "I'll set this up later".
• To leave setup, select "Skip all — I'll set up later" at the bottom, or "Back to Today" at the top.

Skipping doesn't mark a step as done, and your progress is kept. To come back:

• In the sidebar, select the Finish setup card. It shows how many of the 4 steps are done and names the next one, for example "Ask about lead portals".
• Or, on the "Complete your setup" banner at the top of the page, select Continue setup.

You can close the banner with its X. The sidebar card stays until all four steps are done. After that, setup sends you straight to Today.
