Leads aren't showing up
Updated
If a lead you added or expected isn't in Contacts, one of the causes below is usually why. Each one comes with a fix.
You added a lead, but no new contact appeared
The lead's email or phone number matched a contact you already have. Ostira doesn't make a second contact. It adds the new lead source to the existing contact, and the form still says "Lead added!". The existing contact keeps its name, and Ostira doesn't start a new conversation for it.
To find it, search Contacts for the lead's email or phone number.
"You've reached the free plan limit of 25 contacts. Upgrade to add more leads."
The free plan holds up to 25 contacts, and every contact counts. At the limit, new leads can't be added.
To make room, delete contacts you no longer need (see Manage your contacts), or upgrade on Billing. See Plans and limits.
The contact exists, but the list doesn't show it
A search or a Tags or Source filter is still on. The list also shows 50 contacts per page, newest first.
- On Contacts, clear the search box.
- Select Clear all to remove the filters. On your phone, open the filter button and select a chosen tag or source again to turn it off.
- If you have more than 50 contacts, check the next page.
"Enter an email or a phone number"
A lead needs an email address or a phone number. A name alone isn't enough. Add one of them, then select Add Lead again. See Add a lead.
Leads from Zillow, Realtor.com or Homes.com never arrive
Ostira can't connect these portals by itself yet, so their leads don't come in on their own. Email support@ostira.com to ask about connecting a portal.
Until then, add those leads with New lead or import them from a CSV file. See Getting leads into Ostira.
