Export your contacts
Updated
Download your contacts as a CSV file you can open in a spreadsheet or bring into another tool.
Export your contacts
- On Contacts, choose what to export:
- To export everyone, leave the search box empty and select Clear all if any filters are on.
- To export some contacts, search or select a tag or source. The export uses the same search and filters.
- Select Export.
Your browser downloads a file named contacts- followed by a number, ending in .csv. It holds every contact that matches, not just the 50 shown on the page.
What's in the file
| Column | What it holds |
|---|---|
| name | The contact's name |
| Their email address, if you have one | |
| phone | Their phone number, if you have one |
| tags | Their tags, separated by commas |
| leadSources | Where they came from, such as zillow or webform, separated by commas |
| pipelineStage | A stage saved on the contact. It can differ from their deal's stage on Pipeline. |
| leadScore | hot, warm or cold once Ostira has scored them, otherwise empty |
| doNotContact | yes or no |
| createdAt | When the contact was added, as a date and time in UTC |
Notes, messages, appointments, deals and campaign enrollments aren't in the export.
Importing the file again
Ostira's import reads the name, email, phone, tags and leadSources columns from this file. It doesn't read the other columns, so a contact marked Do Not Contact comes back without that setting. Turn it on again in the contact's panel. See Do Not Contact and unsubscribes.
